The degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Physics is offered to students with undergraduate education in chemistry or physics. It provides a program of study and research in joint areas of physics and chemistry. The Committee in Chemical Physics serves to aid students interested in chemical physics plan their program of graduate studies. The program of research leading to the Ph.D. may be carried out under the direction of members of the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, and the Division of Engineeering and Applied Sciences who have interests in chemical physics. Specific information may be obtained from any member of the committee and from the Department of Chemistry Information Office.
